2020 MSRS Board Election Results
Preliminary results are in for the 2020 MSRS Board of Directors election. The following incumbent candidates were re-elected:

Joseph Sullivan & Michael Schweyen, General Employees & Unclassified Retirement Plans

Daniel Gorman, Correctional Retirement Plan

Wes Skogund, representing MSRS pension retirees
These four-year-term positions will begin on Monday, May 4, 2020.
The results are considered preliminary until certified by the MSRS Board of Directors. Election results are normally certified during the March Board meeting; however, due to the Coronavirus, that meeting was canceled. The next Board meeting is scheduled for May 21, 2020.
An election will be held in 2022 to vote for Board members representing the General/Unclassified Retirement Plans (2 positions) and the State Patrol Retirement Plan (1 position). Look for announcements of Board vacancies on this website and in our pension newsletter, The Messenger.
